This is one of my favorite authors. It is a cozy series set in Tinker's Cove, ME.

Lucy Stone and her family are the main characters. In this book, there are arsons happening in old buildings in town. The town prepares for a Halloween party at an old mansion they transform into a haunted house. Everyone in town gets involved and goes to the party.

Lucy always gets involved in solving the crimes. She is a young mother. In this book she gets a little too close to the killer before it is discovered who that is.

I always enjoy books by this author. She has a new one out, Turkey Day Murder, that I look forward to reading.
