Series: Michael Carpo # 2
Kensington; 1998; 295pp

TV news producer Michael Carpo witnesses the aftermath of a brutal murder across the street from his apartment house and actually sees who he thinks is the killer getting away. Because he is a witness, and because he works for a local television station, he becomes embroiled in the investigation.

A serial killer is loose in NYC's East Village. 'The Sandman'. No one knows for sure how or why he picks his victims, but he always seems to obtain easy entry into their homes.

I enjoyed this book a great deal - even to staying up waaaaay past my bedtime reading. This is the second Michael Carpo mystery . . . so now I need to go and find the other two!
