A Boeing jet is rocked by an explosion just outside of Hong Kong, leaving the captain dead and the other pilot blinded. They soon become aware that they are still being targeted by a mysterious business jet. With pressure from all areas, FBI Agent Kat Bronsky struggles to find out who is behind the jet and what is going on.

This epic novel starts with a fast pace and it never lets up until the end of the novel. Nance throws in a huge amount of surprises and plot twists and just when you think something is going to be successful, a spanner is thrown into the works. The ending leaves a few threads that I would have liked to see tied up, but apart from that, the whole plot works very well and is innovative.

Nance's cast of characters are mixed but he develops them all well and he goes to lengths to show that they are human. It could be argued that the entire book is rather far-fetched, but the author has clearly done his research and he makes a believable case.

This is one book that you should not read on board a plane, but apart from that, it is an interesting and exciting read. A good thriller and one from which a movie could easily be made.
