Mountain View, Arkansas is the home of the Ozark Folk Center State Park, and Carrie McCrite is attending the yearly Department of Parks and Tourism Convention. Carrie was attending to take notes and collect brochures to take back to the tourist information center in Bonny, Arkansas.

When Carrie took a break from the sessions to take a walk in the woods little did she realize that she would soon be plunged into a murder, a kidnapping and would be dragging her good friend Henry right along with her.

Country western stars Chase Mason and Tracy Teal were entertainers at the convention but Carrie stumbled onto the fact that their daughter Dulcey had been kidnapped. Soon Carrie and her friends are assisting Chase and Tracy in trying to locate the kidnappers.

Nehring gives you a good picture of the Arkansas area and even adds a couple of recipes to boot.
