Writing about amnesia can be a tricky thing. Few of us know what it is like and descriptions can sound a bit phony. In Never Say Die Kris Neri seems to bring it off. The world of the triathlon brings an interesting background to the story.

When Zoey Morgan is struck by a car while training for a triathlon, a witness suggests it was intentional. But Zoeyıs memory is so affected that she canıt remember things leading up to the accident. Not even who might want to kill her or why. While continuing her training, she must figure out who she can trust and try to avoid other near accidents.

The protagonist and other characters are easy to like, or so it seems. The truth will seep in in small doses until you almost have the answers, but the near escapes only add to the suspense until the stunning ending.

Kris Neri is an author you will want to read again.
