Zoey Morgan hears the medics state “She’s gone”. Zoey was run down by a hit and run driver and left for dead. The medics were ready to give up on here but Zoey fights her way back. The only problem is she has lost her memory of the recent past.
Zoey is from Colorado but is in San Diego in training. Zoey is an athlete and training for the triathlon. However, it seems someone is trying to stop her but she can’t put her memories together enough to figure out who or why.
Dale, who Zoey thinks is a police officer, is trying to help her out. Zoey cannot decide if she can trust Dale or not. Actually, Zoey has no idea who she can trust.
The reader learns a lot about the rigid training that goes into participation in a triathlon. The story of Zoey fighting to get her memory back and save her life is fascinating. A great story.
