An in-depth look at high school hazing: where it came from; what it looks like now in its many forms; and suggestions for how to deal with it. This book should probably be required reading for every parent of every elementary-school-aged child. Unfortunately, those most in need of the information in this book are those who are the least likely to see themselves reflected in its pages. Many things have changed since the publication of this book, but the information about hazing, how to recognize it, and how to deal with it is just as important now as they were six months ago and a year ago. Whether your child is a potential football player, cheerleader, or may simply be a target of bullies, this book will help you recognize what is going on and suggests ways to deal with it. Equally important, in the last chapter of the book is a list of other references, contact organizations, web sites to contact. Thank you, Mr. Newer!
