Harper Blaine is just as exciting and pulse-racing in “Poltergeist” as she is in her literary debut, “Greywalker.” This is one you cannot miss.

As a private detective with the ability to travel between “our world” and the dead because she was resuscitated after dying for a couple minutes, Miss Blaine is considered a “Greywalker.” This tends to alter the clients who seek her services, and the resources she uses when solving mysteries. In “Poltergeist” she is hired to by a local psychology professor to at the community college to determine who is faking outcomes in a research group. They are supposed to being conjoining their energy to call a poltergeist, but freaky things have begun to happen and one person ends up dead. With her ability to “see into the grey,” Harper knows that outside energies are at work and that she must harness the power before it strengthens and harms more people.

Written with power and precise language, you feel the fog move around you! “Poltergeist” is gripping and white-knuckling. You cannot put it down until you have read the last page, then you are very sorry the story is finished because you want more!
