When Andy Carpenter takes on a Golden Retriever as a client you can expect a few smiles in the courtroom action. Rosenfeltıs books are a lot of fun, but the action turns serious as he tries to get the dogıs original owner out of jail. Richard Evans has been convicted of killing his girlfriend as well as his dog. Unfortunately the dog canıt testify to what actually happened. That wonıt stop Andy from trying to get Richard sprung and reunited with his dog.

High powered and very nasty persons do not wish to see Evansı case reopened. With Andy and friends investigating, new and strange clues keep popping up but seem to make no sense and are no help to the case. With a twisty ending you will find this story entertaining, puzzling, nail-biting, amusing and always worth reading. Andy Carpenter is a winner.
