Robin Ballantyne is a young widowed mother of three year old twins. As a journalist she is working on a documentary about missing people when a colleague goes missing. She feels compelled to investigate even though others do not want her to do so.

This is a story that draws you in. Characters have whole lives from family to work to social contacts. The story moves forward relentlessly leaving the reader as wondering as the families involved and feeling their exhaustion. It is unlikely that you will guess the ending.

This is Robin Ballantyne¹s second outing and you will want to see more of her.
