Ah! A breath of fresh air to go with the warmer weather!! Barbara Seranella and her protagonist Munch Mancini are back. And of course there’s trouble. In NO MAN STANDING Munch’s friend Ellen is getting out of jail an her parents have been murdered. Could it have something to do with the money everyone’s looking for? Duh! Add in your Prozac-addled stalker and an impending move and you know it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

Seranella hit the mystery ground running with Munch’s debut in NO HUMAN INVOLVED bringing to mystery a crime solving, car repairing, FEMALE junkie. Now recovering and doing the twelve steps I’m always afraid that Munch will lose her edge. Luckily for us, Serenella doesn’t allow that to happen. For along the way the Jones hasn’t gone away it’s simply evolved. Where once Munch cared about where to get the money for that next fix she now has concerns even more dear. Will she keep her daughter welland safe? And how about the house payment. When we’ve climbed so high the thought of a fall can be terrifying. This series is recommended to anyone who enjoys a great read and this book is as flavorful as the Chili Chorizo at our local Mexican Restaurant.
