I like to read series in order, but had missed this one in chronological order. Fortunately with Angela and Caledonia, their lives are set in a pattern so major character development is not an issue, although Chita the waitress does get engaged in this one. Despite the title, the mystery does not involve food.

This time one of their own is engaged to the corpse, so the excuse for the ladies to meddle in the affairs of others is more plausible than usual. I liked this one more than some of the others in the series.
