All over America, people know the voice of Willard Scott. Most are probably also familiar with his birthday congratulations to anyone who reached the 100-year mark while he was on the "Today" show. Continuing in that tradition, Mr. Scott has collected hundreds of opinions from people world-wide concerning "What are some of the greatest things about getting older?"

Opinions vary widely, naturally. There are, after all, drawbacks to getting older. That aside, the short essays, letters, paragraphs and quotes that Scott has collected from people from all walks of life can be sometimes wise, sometimes incredibly funny, and generally delightful. Opinions have been collected from the famous to the ordinary.

If someone in your life is reaching one of those scary milestones that end in "0", or even if they are only getting nervous about it, get them a copy of this book. I'm seriously considering passing it on to my children, if only to convince them that life does NOT end at 40!
