Maggie Sefton is a great new addition to the cozy writers. In a genre that sometimes slips into the fluffy or silly, Maggie offers a well plotted book with believable characters.

Kelly Flynn is a CPA working in a D.C. firm when she takes leave to settle her auntıs estate. Aunt Helen in Colorado has been killed and the police have the suspect in custody But Kelly begins to have doubts. Helped by old acquaintances and new friends she investigates and uncovers unexpected family ties and financial dealings have led to murder.

Kellyıs new friends are knitters from the wool shop next door. You donıt have to knit to enjoy this book, but be warned. After the descriptions of sensuous texture and color in an amazing array of yarns, you could be bitten by the bug. It is difficult to read this and not want to run out to the nearest yarn store. And the book even contains a simple knitting pattern to get you started.
