The town of Paradise, Ohio did not make the map. Literally. Josie Toadfern, local stain expert and Laundromat owner, takes it upon herself to gain national attention. She pursues an invitation to the most popular home decorating TV show, Tyra Grimes’. In a town of just over 2,000 people, word gets out of Josie’s plan. Several people warn her not to continue with her plan, but Josie pushes forward.

To Josie’s surprise Tyra shows up in Paradise (Ohio) without notice. Then Josie finds herself neck deep in laundry stains, 2 murders and a town angry with her for bringing this all to Paradise. Josie is pretty sure she can take care of the laundry stains, but can she prove they’ve got the wrong guy for the murder/s? Will her Laundromat ever be the same?

This is a fun mystery, and the stain removal hints are just extras! I like Josie’s teacher that keeps showing up in her dreams. I would re-name my town Paradise if I could run around in my pajamas and slippers, too.
