Tucker Sinclair is a delightful character and I loved her dog Muldoon. Actually Muldoon is a Westie that belongs to Tucker’s mother but Tucker is very attached to Muldoon. Tucker’s mother thinks she spoil the dog too much. Muldoon is just an extra in this novel but I totally enjoyed his antics.

Evan Brice was engaged to Tucker's in college. He dropped Tucker for her friend Cissy and didn’t handle it in a gentlemanly manner. Now Tucker is advised that Evan has been murdered and the police are questioning Tucker. Tucker forgets past hurts and goes to visit Cissy. This little visit turns out to be more than Tucker bargained for.

First she is stopped by the press as she tries to enter Cissy’s home and soon finds herself on TV. Evan has had problems with money and drugs and keeps a separate apartment. Cissy plays on Tucker’s sympathy and Tucker winds up responsible for closing up Evan’s apartment and getting rid of all the contents.

Being an inquisitive person Tucker can’t just go haul everything out of the apartment and go on her way. She decides to investigate on her own much to the horror of her sometimes boyfriend Deegan who is also a policeman. She is determined that although Cissy has her faults she is not a murderer as the police suspect.

This was a very entertaining book and I hope to read more about the adventures of Tucker Sinclair in the near future.
