I have to admit straight up that this is not the type of book I would normally pick up. I'm more of a hard-boiled reader, not a recipe in the books kind of reader. But I found this book to be well written and enjoyable. Bubbles is a fun character, and the others in the book are enjoyable as well. In this book her friend's Uncle is found dead, and Bubbles is on the case! It reads fast, and is actually a nice break from all the darker stuff I normally read.
