This is a great 2nd book in a series. I must admit, had I been purchasing this book, the cover might have stopped me. I'm glad I went on and read it. American police detective, Sergeant Priscilla Booth inherits a house from her murdered distant cousin, Sylvia Cawthorne, with the stipulation she must live there 30 days. She and her boyfriend, Mort Sinclair, a criminoligist from Oxford go there to stay.

Actors are in town filming a movie at a local manor. Sylvia finds out things about her cousin that she never knew and she and Mort begin investigating Sylvia's death.

This is a fun book and I hope to read others in this series.
