Rebecca Kincaid is a present day wife and mother who finds that her life is meaningless. Her husband is not faithful and takes her for granted. Her children are grown and leading their own lives. Discontented with her life Rebecca falls asleep and her soul finds it way back in time to 1319 when a young woman who calls herself Cecilia wakes up in a Monastery with no memory of her past life.

Cecilia, although near death when she arrives at the Monastery, is nursed to health by the monks who grow to love her. She in turn loves them and finds much happiness at the Monastery. This book takes you on an adventure with Cecilia in medieval times with flashbacks to the present when Rebecca’s doctor, a world expert in cases of atypical reincarnation, attempts communication with Rebecca in a search for the answers as to Rebecca’s condition.

Eventually Cecilia, thru the body of Rebecca, communicates with the doctor. She tries to tell him of her life with the monks.

I enjoyed the book very much. It went quickly and held my interest.
