In Texas hill country, Willis and Virginia Spencer enjoy creeping nasty individuals. The duo relishes performing frightening pranks on those acrimonious people whom make life ugly for everyone else. They visit Mrs. MacPherson’s ice cream parlor in Doublesign, Texas asking for service as the place is about to close. Mrs. MacPherson refuses to wait on the duo because the rules are that she closes up at five o’clock regardless of her customers.

During the noisy Fourth of July celebration, Willis and Virginia visit Mrs. MacPherson in order to scare her into changing her demeanor. However, to their surprise someone beat them to the punch but in a more complete manner as the unknown assailant killed the odious storekeeper. Now the FBI Agent Mondragon has a reason to catch the shadowy stars of the “Shitkillers” case as a homicide has occurred during one of the pranks.

ENDLESS HONEYMOON is a wild satirical ride through the police-procedural-amateur sleuth sub-genres. The story line is fast-paced and very facetious. The Spencers are a weird, entertaining couple who along with Mondragon make the ironic story line succeed. Don Webb pins quite an amusing web that will provide pleasure to those who enjoy a different kind of mystery.
