THE COLOR OF EMPTINESS is a well done debut novel. Katherine McDonald is a New York attorney whose humanity has begot divorce from her corporate husband. She oversees the troubled youth of New York City and they are being stalked and killed. The link between the deaths may just be her. Webb takes the overdone serial killer plot and injects it with a new life. Characters that feel real pepper the pages and atmosphere that feels like a foggy day make THE COLOR OF EMPTINESS a book above ordinary.
