This was a wonderful fun quirky book. Though written when I was only three years old, it actually still holds up quite well. A anti-war pacifist named Gene Raxford is mistaken for someone else. Some one who happens to lead a fringe terrorist movement. He tries to get help from the FBI, but they don’t believe him. So, in order to protect himself he goes undercover to incriminate those behind a new group. He ends up going further undercover than he originally planned and gets caught up in a very strange adventure. A funny, yet moral story. Great entertainment and a wonderful example of Westlake’s early work.
