In a post 9/11 world, we are all a bit nervous. This book feeds our paranoia about politics and big business.

In DC Senator Elizabeth Beechum is in a tight primary race for the Democratic candidate for the presidency. Jeremy Waller is an FBI agent hoping to be chosen to the Hostage Rescue team. And Sirad Malenaux is an executive who is up for promotion with telecommunications company Borders Atlantic.

Each of these three characters is facing difficult times. Their stories will eventually intertwine, and will lead back to Jordan Mitchell. The CEO of Borders Atlantic, Mitchell, is one of the most powerful and most hated men in the country. Senator Beechum heads a committee that is investigating Mitchell¹s company.
