In Boston, bluebloods Aunt Vi and now deceased Uncle Ben raised Jenna Marsten after her parents died in a South American plane crash. However, her allegedly dead father sends Jenna a present from the Amazon where he lives. Although she believes that he wanted nothing to do with her, Jenna needs to learn why. Over the objection of her aunt, she flies to the Amazon to meet her dad.

Robert is detained at the clinic, leaving his associate Dr. Adam DeSanto to escort his daughter to him. Adam wants nothing to do with the American socialite. Instead, he wants her to go home because he knows the harsh jungle will eat her alive as it did his first wife. However, somehow in spite of his efforts he falls in love with Jenna. Still, the primitive jungle is NOT EXACTLY EDEN even if Jenna feels she has found her Adam in the brooding hunk.

NOT EXACTLY EDEN is a powerful inspirational romantic suspense tale that will lift the spirits of the audience. The story line is exciting and brings the Amazon into vivid color without the pretense of western superiority. The lead couple is a wonderful duo struggling with their beliefs. Inspirational? Yes! Romantic? Yes! Suspenseful? Yes! Linda Windsor combines the two sub-genres into a triumphant novel that provides the audience with a strong, stirring story.
