The style of this book may not appeal to all readers. The writing style is conversational, kind of a narration that you might hear in a bar after a few drinks. And there really aren’t any good guys, just shades of bad, badder and baddest.

The premise is this. Our protagonist is a gun runner, he makes good money doing what he does and lives like the guy next door, he just breaks the law for a living. His boss want him to go on what should be a milk run, dropping off some guns in New York, exchanging money, coming home. But the amount of people involved makes him thing something is fishy.

And of course it is. As the book continues alliances change, nobody is who they appear to be, and as Burdon Lane wakes up to what is really happening he changes his outlook a bit.

A great fast read and lots of action.
